General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Contracting Party: Normproof
As of: May 2024
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts regarding participation in training courses (specifically regarding DIN standards such as DIN 2303) concluded between Normproof (hereinafter "Provider") and the customer (hereinafter "Participant" or "Client").
2. Subject of the Contract
The subject of the contract is the provision of online training content, digital learning materials, and the administration of examinations for certification of compliance with industry standards.
3. Registration and Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of courses on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer. By clicking the order button, the customer submits a binding offer. The contract is only concluded upon written confirmation (email) or the activation of the course content.
4. Payment Terms
Course fees are due immediately upon invoicing without deduction, unless otherwise agreed. Access to content is generally granted only after receipt of payment.
5. Rights of Use
The participant receives a simple, non-transferable right to use the provided content for their own use. Duplication, distribution to third parties, or public performance is strictly prohibited.
6. Validity of Certificates
The participant is advised that certifications (specifically regarding DIN 2303) may have a limited period of validity. Training must generally be repeated every 12 months to ensure technical up-to-dateness.
7. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
If the customer is a consumer, they have a statutory right of withdrawal. This expires prematurely if the Provider has begun executing the service (e.g., providing digital course access) with the customer's express consent.
8. Liability
Normproof is only liable for intent and gross negligence. Liability for indirect damages or lost profits is excluded.
9. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Normproof.
