All data is stored on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (ISO-27001-certified, data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR). E-mail is also sent via a German provider (IONOS SE). Uploaded documents are stored encrypted; only your own company has access - and only to what each employee has explicitly shared.

No. Text recognition and translation run on our own hardware in Germany using locally operated models; no external AI services are used. The reading aid also only starts at the user's explicit request.

DIN 2303 requires qualified personnel for welding work on defence products. The BAAINBw A-Z collection specifies a training obligation that also covers purchasing, quality assurance and project management - with a refresher every 3 years. So it is not just welders, but every role along the process chain.

For an approved, purchasable course, a personalized training certificate as a PDF with a QR code. Each certificate can be verified via a public verification page - an auditor can check its authenticity in seconds without needing access to the platform. Courses that are still publicly accessible during the beta phase can already be completed but do not yet issue a certificate; this is noted for each affected course.

Via the compliance cockpit with traffic-light logic: green = all records current, yellow = expiring soon, red = missing or expired. Expiry reminders are sent automatically by e-mail (42 and 7 days ahead). For audits there is a one-click export.

A course license costs between 20 € and 250 € net per employee depending on the course, plus company access starting at 299 € net per year - tiered by number of employees (up to 10 people 299 €, then 449 €, 599 €, 1.190 €, and from 151 people 1.990 €). Register yourself and start right away: 14 days of full functionality including the course, cockpit and document upload. The trial ends automatically - there is no notice period and no automatic conversion into a purchase. After expiry, trial data is deleted automatically.

The interface is available in over 20 European languages; each employee chooses their own language. For DIN 2303, the course content is also translated, including subtitles for the videos. The remaining courses are currently only available in German. The welding supervisor will always view the results uniformly in German.

Yes. NormProof can be installed as an app on your smartphone (Android and iOS, no app store required) - documents can be uploaded directly with the camera. A Play Store version is in preparation.

Health-related documents belong to the employee. They decide on each individual share with the company and can revoke it at any time (Art. 9 GDPR, explicit consent). Without active sharing, the company does not see the document - not even the welding supervisor.

As long as your company account exists, all attestations remain accessible. If the account ends, you have twelve months to download the certificates. After that, they are deleted. Our advice: Download certificates that need to be retained long-term immediately after issuance and store them in your own filing system. Legal retention periods apply to the employer, not the training provider.

Examiners who refer customers to NormProof receive a referral commission. The recommendation remains independent: there are no requirements as to which certification body or examiner is engaged. Details under "For examiners" or by mail to [email protected].
